The product is intended for one rider up to 250 pounds.

The current model is designed for people 4 feet to 6 feet in height. The handle bar and handle stem can adjust to a rider within that height range.

Grab the front tire between your legs, loosen the hex screw located on the tip of the stem counter clockwise with a 13mm wrench, Once you loosen this screw gently hit the head of the screw with a hammer or any other rigid object. Doing this the locking mechanism gets loose and the stem will be free to move up or down. Once you reach the right height, tighten the stem bolt clockwise until you get the stem firm in the desired height adjustment. For more information consult your owner’s manual.

Yes. One quick release pin enables the front tire to be removed in less than a minute and without any tools. For more information consult your owner’s manual.

Once folded horizontally without the wheel, it will take about 16 cubic feet.

The Cricket Stepper is designed for riding on smooth surfaces, such as sidewalks, asphalt, concrete, and pavers. The product is not suitable for use on gravel, uneven and hilly paths of any kind, steep hills or mountains, or extended ramps, courses and parks designed for stunts.

The Cricket Stepper model CST17 is intended for people 10 years old and older, who have the ability and judgment to ride a vehicle similar to a bicycle.

90 DEGREES with the frame

The suggested maximum speed is 12 miles per hour (MPH), powered by a human. WARNING: Do not modify or motorize this product.

Yes. The cricket stepper step motion is similar to a stair stepper. Turning left and right is similar to a regular bike. Always reduce the speed when turning. It is recommended for your safety to start learning the process of riding the cricket stepper, practicing in a controlled environment. Pick a large spot, with no traffic, pedestrians or obstacles, and ride until you feel comfortable, making sure you make several starts and stops, and right and left turns.

This happens because the back wheels are inappropriately aligned with the rim. If the back wheels are not aligned properly they will lose the center of the rotation. Because the tricycle has two wheels on the rear, the frame will follow the uneven rotation of the wheels, this uneven movement is transferred from the frame to the handlebar when riding. In other words, this uneven rotation will feel like you are riding on a bumpy surface. If you get a flat tire, and you are not sure how to align the tires with the rims, It is very important you take the cricket to a local bike mechanic to inflate the tires properly and align with the rim. Otherwise you will experience an uncomfortable ride.

Because the cricket has 3 wheels, the whole entire body of the cricket follows the surface you are riding on. If the surface pitch is to the right, you will see the front vertical level off to the right, if the surface pitch is to the left; you will see the front vertical level off to the left. If the surface is leveled you will feel the appropriate vertical level

No. This movement is normal and intended this way. The main frame is designed to have certain flexibility, so the rear wheels to stay on the ground at all times.

The cricket stepper comes partially assembled. Follow all assembly and adjustment instructions exactly as shown in the owner’s manual.

Yes. The Cricket Stepper can be used as a stationary stepper by using a platform accessory specially made for the cricket stepper when the weather does not allow for outdoor exercise. You can purchase this platform in the accessory section of the website. It is recommended, when you use the cricket indoors, to engage the hydraulic cylinders, to increase the resistance of the exercise. The stationary platform is not “In stock” or “Is not available” at this moment (please choose which phrase is more suitable for this application)

Yes. You can install just one cylinder, or remove both. That means you can reduce or increase exercise impacting one leg. This also can accommodate people with certain disabilities, such as a bad hip, or individuals in physical therapy that need to exercise one leg more over the other.

Check lubrication on the chain and bearings at least once a month. If it feels dry to the touch (versus gummy or slick), it requires oil. Use any standard light-grade, bike-chain oil.

Calorie monitors may be the necessary motivation to keep you going through a tough cardio workout. Seeing the number increase as you go feels rewarding. Since calorie burn is also affected by weight, gender, age, body composition, and exercise intensity, the number is never going to be 100 percent accurate. A machine can’t necessarily tell how much we’re actually participating in an exercise, and these machines may overestimate or underestimate heart rates and calories burnt.

We provide a 15-day trial and 6-month manufacturer’s parts warranty. Read more.
